امریکی کانگریس
- امریکی کانگریس کے دو چیمبر ہیں، ایوانِ نمائندگان اور سینٹ.
- صرف ایوانِ نمائندگان ہی صدر پر الزام لگا سکتا ہے، جبکہ صرف سینٹ ہی صدر کو ہٹانے کی کوشش کر سکتی ہے.
- یہ 1789ء میں شروع کی گئی تھی.
- 1862ء میں سول وار/جنگ کو سپورٹ کرنے کے لیے کانگریس نے امریکہ کا پہلا انکم ٹیکس قانون متعارف کرایا تھا.
- اسے امریکہ کی تشریعی برانچ کے طور پر بھی جانا جاتا ہے، یہ قانون بناتے ہیں
